cricket is not all about bat and ball , but also about concentration . yes really why not if a blower wants a wicket then he must have to ball accurately to the stumps to get the wicket for that he should and must have concentration. to get that concentration he has to do meditation . similarly batsman should also have concentration in order to hit the towards the fence .here meditation places such key factor for cricketers . most of them believe that meditation does not required for cricketers , but now belief has change . meditation is a greatest tool to defend the opposition team . In other way we can say meditation can lift up the team spirit .

These days cricketer are too much busy with cricket , as entry of indian premier league has make it more busy . With this continious cricket , cricketers need relaxation . Meditation imparts these all requirements for keeping them stress free .As meditation makes cricketers more concentration while playing cricket or even blowing . Tests cricket is all about concentration even if you can hit hard with bat it needs the timing . May be twenty 20 cricket ,can get awaythese situations.In case of tests , which will be played for 8 hours a day.And also lasts for 5 days .Which requires meditation desperately .

May be in future instead of practicing before match starts , players may do meditation for good cricket session.Once the match starts , there will be no chance of doing meditation in between the session . But still players can do meditation in lunch session , as lunch lasts for more than45 minutes . 25 minutes for lunch , and rest of time for meditation purpose . Every cricketer in his life wants to be in the part of world cup winning team . Now What winning team need? Team work,unity in them . When cricketers go out on the field , they really under go a lot of pressure .In order to suppress the pressure on them , they need to impart the skills of meditation.As icc have announced the schedule of cricket world cups .

They are world cup 20-20 , champions trophy , world cup 2011 ( will be played in india ) to win these big events the team need to impart the meditation skills . Meditation is not only for cricketers , but each and every indivisual in society need meditation for there respective requirements .finally, the question comes will meditation helps cricket player to play good cricket.or will meditation helps to score more runs in cricket??
